Join us for Kiwi Dreaming, New Zealand’s inaugural Salesforce community-led event

09th March 2020

Learning, networking, design thinking, demo jamming and… dreaming

It’s happening! New Zealand’s very first Dreaming event, by and for the Salesforce community. With more than 20 Dreaming events now established globally, Davanti has been following the events over the years, and we’re super stoked that the Kiwi Dreaming team has come together to bring our very own event to our shores.

Dreaming events are different from World Tours, Basecamps or Dreamforce in the respect that they’re run by the Salesforce community, or Ohana, itself. We’re really excited to be getting amongst the action and community vibe as principal sponsor.

If you’re a Salesforce Trailblazer and you are in, or can make it to, Auckland on 7 May (at the Ellerslie Events Centre), it’s a must-attend (and affordable) event. It’s a great chance to learn, connect with your Salesforce Ohana, learn things that you might not have known, share stories with the community, and have a whole lot of fun along the way.

The Dreaming theme this year is Akoranga/learning, which is particularly relevant for us at Davanti. As a business in growth mode, in a fast-growing Salesforce market, constant learning is critical for us. Every year we look to grow and foster learning and have formed strong networks with universities, establishing Davanti’s graduate and internship programmes. In 2019, across our Wellington and Auckland offices we were delighted to run six people through our intern programme, all of whom will be joining us in permanent roles, alongside welcoming an additional six grads!

We’d love to see as many aspiring and up-and-coming Trailblazers in attendance as possible, so in the spirit of learning, we’re giving away a bunch of tickets to tertiary students, which we will be organising through the universities.

It’s going to be an action-packed day, with lots of speakers from the Salesforce community, locally and internationally, and an expo where you can see what’s happening amongst New Zealand’s Salesforce ecosystem (and come and visit us at the Davanti stand, of course!).

We’re especially excited to be kicking off the day (from 8 – 9am) by hosting a turbo-charged design thinking event. It will be a fun and interactive, high-energy design sprint in an hour where we’ll focus on a social challenge and talk through methodologies for designing software before you start building software.

You can’t beat a bit of demo competition, and the day’s events will conclude with the world famous Salesforce Demo Jam. We will be taking this pretty seriously and running an internal competition to bring our creative talents to the fore. Looking forward to seeing our competitors on the demo floor!

It’s going to be a great event. A massive thank you Anna Loughnan, Jo Moore and Stephen Brown for their energy in making it a reality.

See you there!

Please spread the word: Events like these depend on the support of the community and we’d love to see as many of our Salesforce cohort as possible out in force for the event.
